lyrics

I hope you never want to be on the same page.
We’re always two steps off if you’re counting.
I've never been enough to know that I am wrong.
And I’ll admit all my flaws if you would share with me yours.

Yeah you scream, “privilege, you greedy bastards! (I know I’m just, as sick as you are)
Then we’ll sit here and wait for death to come without the answers.

Well we can say to anyone who will listen, “there is no purpose and there is no reason”

I hope you never find out my real name.
I haven’t used it for years out of fear you see.
I've never been enough to know that I am running.
And I’ll never admit that I’m terrified of what’s to come.

Yeah you scream, “privilege, you greedy bastards! (I know I’m just, as sick as you are)
Then we’ll sit here and wait for death to come without the answers.

Well we can say to anyone who will listen, “there is no purpose and there is no reason”

I promise you that you will burn alone for the cancer that you've been
selling, for the anger that you've been seeding, while painted with hate.

about

Black Mesa Bellingham, Washington

Black Mesa was originally formed by guitarist/vocalists Andrew and Adrian in fall 2011. Early in 2012, bassist Rowan was added. Finally, in the spring, after a lengthy search, Derek joined on drums.

The idea of the band is that the music should not be forced into a specific sound, allowing each song to be created depending on how the band feels at any given time.
